Megan Fox is now officially attached to star in Fox's long gestating Fathom movie. And she'll also have a producer credit if the movie gets made with her starring in it.

Fox isn't the only new addition to the project. There's also a new screenwriter working on Fathom, Jordan Mechner. Best known as the creator of the Prince of Persia video game, Mechner also co-wrote the script for that film which will come out next summer from Walt Disney Pictures. Peter Safran, Steve Bessen and Brian Austin Green will also receive producer credit on the Fathom movie while comic book creator Michael Turner will have an executive producer credit awarded posthumously.
