Now we know what the stage look of the new Fright Night's Peter Vincent will be: imagine a cross between Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean and Criss Angel.
This photo was taken outside of the Hard Rock Cafe in Las Vegas where it was hanging for a scene that we'll see in the new movie. As you can tell David Tennant's version of Peter Vincent is far more flashy than the Roddy McDowell incarnation of the character. Of course, this may just be the stage costume for Vincent when he's seen in the public and the character may be dressed down in different scenes throughout the movie.

David Tennant (Doctor Who) and Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Kick-Ass) have been added to the cast of Fright Night. The Scottish born Tennant will play the role of David Vincent, a Las Vegas stage magician who uses horror imagery as part of his routine. The part was originally played by Roddy McDowell in the original 1985 Fright Night movie; in that version Vincent was a late night TV host of a horror show.
Mintz-Plasse will play "Evil" Ed Thompson, the best friend of Charlie Brewster. Stephen Geoffreys played Ed in the original.
