Anotherquartet of former SNL cast membesr have joined the cast of Grown Ups. Tim Meadows, Norm MacDonald, Tim Herlihy and Colin Quinn are now all included in the picture, bringing the total number of ex-Saturday Night Live cast members involved in the film up to nine.

Sony has readjusted its summer 2010 schedule and moved Grown Ups from its March 12 release date to a prime summer one, namely June 25, 2010. The move also means that the studio's Green Hornet movie (which had been slated to open 6/25) has been bumped back to July 9, 2010.

The formerly untitled Adam Sandler ensemble comedy now has a title: Grown Ups. And there are also photos of the stars on set that you can look at as Coming Soon has published a couple of dozen stills taken on the Southborough, Massachusetts set. The one to your immediate right shows Sandler, Chris Rock and Maya Rudolph having a laugh while working.

Variety reports the news of a major new comedy film project, one that brings together the talents of Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Kevin James, David Spade and Rob Schneider. All five are in talks to star in the as-yet untitled comedy set up at Columbia Pictures and to be produced by Happy Madison Productions, Sandler's company. The screenplay, which will have the five comedians play best friends from high school reuniting to spend the fourth of July together, was penned by Sandler and Fred Wolf (Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star).
Dennis Dugan (You Don't Mess With the Zohan, I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry) will direct and production is anticipated to begin this summer. [Full story]
