The debut for the exclusive San Diego Comic-Con poster Let Me In happened today over at MTV, and the one sheet shows a very bloody Chloe Moritz centered against a black backdrop and in a pool of crimson blood. Moody.
Director Matt Reeves told the site that he wrote novelist John Ajvide Lindqvist about what his thoughts were after watching the original Swedish adaptation of the author's novel. "He said, 'I saw Cloverfield and I really liked Cloverfield because it was a very fresh spin on a very old, tried and true story, and that's really what I was trying to do with [my book]," Reeves said. "But I'm actually even more excited now [hearing from you] because it's actually the story of my childhood, this book. It's a semi-autobiography, minus the vampires.' And so for exactly the reason I had connected to [the story], it was clearly the motivation in his writing it, so he was incredibly gracious. I was very excited."
