Sony Pictures has bought the American distribution rights to Red Hill, writer/director Patrick Hughes western/thriller starring Ryan Kwanten from True Blood. It's Hughes first movie and the film is riding high on good buzz generated from a recent Berlin Film Festival screening.

The film's production company posted this teaser trailer for the movie on YouTube last month:
