Tron Legacy screenwriters Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal have been hired to write a new screenplay for Warner Bros.' Rex Mundi film project. Five years ago Jim Uhls (Fight Club) was the first writer to take a stab at adapting the comic book into a screenplay but since then the project has stalled. A new script will give the project a fresh coat of paint and possibly push it up the development ladder.

Johnny Depp's Infinitum Nihil production company, Dark Horse Entertainment and Alan and Peter Riche remain onboard as the film's producers.
