Filming has started on Stomp the Yard 2: Homecoming, with production rolling in Atlanta. The film's lead is Collins Pennie (Fame) who plays a teenager named Chance Harris. He wants to be a dance star and has entered a television competition to try and win fame. However, Chance is also in danger of failing at Truth University if he can't find a center between his ambitions and responsibilities.

Also starring in the film are Keith David (Gamer), Pooch Hall (The Game), Terrence Jenkins (106 & Park), Lil Duval (Comedian), Tika Sumpter (One Life To Live), Kiely Alexis Williams (The Cheetah Girls), rapper David Banner, singer Teyena Taylor and So You Think You Can Dance runner-up Stephen "tWitch" Boss.
