Michael Clarke Duncan dead at age 54
Actor Michael Clarke Duncan has passed away at the age of 54, from complications suffered from a heart attack he had in July.
Known for his big build and deep voice, Duncan was in the prime of his life. His first movie role was in 1995's Friday, and he had several small parts playing bouncers and muscle men. It wasn't until 1997's Armageddon that he had a meatier role with more lines, playing one of the rough-and-tumble drilling crew drafted into blowing up an approaching asteroid.

Indiana Jones and Ally McBeal are getting hitched. Rumor has it that Harrison Ford has proposed to his longtime girlfriend Calista Flockhart by giving her an engagement ring last month. On Valentine's Day, to be precise.

Natasha Richardson passes away
Actress Natasha Richardson has died as a result of a head injury that happened while she was skiing. The 45-year-old Richardson had been flown to a New York hospital yesterday and had been surrounded by her family and friends. It was decided earlier today by Richardson's family to remove her from life support.

Pat Hingle, Batman's Commissioner Gordon, passes away
Veteran character actor Pat Hingle, best-known for his recurring role as Gotham City Police Commissioner Jim Gordon in four Batman movies from the 1980s and 1990s, died on Saturday at the age of 84 from blood cancer.

Tina Fey wins Entertainer of the Year award
When the whole western world latched on to watch ex-Saturday Night Live cast member Tina Fey impersonate vice presidential-candidate Sarah Palin this past fall, the 30 Rock creator/star/head writer saw her celeb status blast into orbit. Now after winning three Emmys and starring in a hit movie Fey is being given a new honor: she's been hailed as the Associated Press' Entertainer of the Year.

Spirit stars walk the carpet
Scarlett Johansson, Eva Mendez, Samuel L. Jackson and director Frank Miller all showed up at the Berlin premiere for The Spirit and The Superficial has a dozen snapshots of the quartet posing on the red carpet to show the world. Don't expect to see any evening dresses on the lovely ladies and you won't be disappointed. Poor Frank only mattered enough to get photographed once.
