I didn't know what to really make of it when a movie based on Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter started getting made.
Sure, it's got one of those titles that tell you everything that you need to know about the movie, but that doesn't mean that it will be any good. When Timur Bekmambetov, director of Wanted and Night Shift, got hired to helm it, I knew that it would look slick.
I still didn't know if it would be any good.
Now Fox has laid down the trailer for AL:VH and, sure enough, it's got the functionality of a blockbuster actioner: slo-mo battle sequences, people ducking and bending in slo-mo, the hero doing Superman-level feats of strength...in slo-mo.
Zack Snyder should be diggin' it.
