Columbia Pictures has won the bidding for Iron Jack, an action spec screenplay written by Johnny Rosenthal. The script, which attracted bids from MGm, CBS Films and Spyglass Entertainment, sold for $1.25 million dollars against $2 million. Producing Iron Jack will be Todd Garner (Are We There Yet?, 13 Going on 30, xXx).

The little known about Rosenthal's story is that the action is set in the 1930s and the main character is a renowned novelist who sets out on an adventure to locate a legendary treasure.
