Friday night box office receipts show Fast & Furious leaping out of the starting gate with an incredible $30,111,000 in ticket sales. To give you an idea as to how tremendous that showing is, the all-time highest three-day opening for a movie is currently for 2003's Anger Management with $42.2 million dollars; Fast & Furious is $12m short of besting that record and that's only after one day in release. It's entirely conceivable that Fast & Furious could come very close to enjoying at $70m opening weekend.
