Warner Bros. and CBS Films are teaming together for a feature length version of The Stand. Based on Stephen King's bestselling opus of the same name, the book chronicles the lives of survivors after super-plague called Captain Trips kills 99.4% of the world's population. The living soon find themselves having prophetic dreams of a dark man and a old woman, each representing the forces of evil and good. Events build into a confrontation between the two factions for the fate of the planet.
