January 11, 2011 - Captain America / concept art of Red Skull?

So is this leaked concept artwork for the Red Skull? It certainly looks similar to those leaked (and later confirmed) pieces of Captain America concept art. And he is holding the Cosmic Cube, a.k.a. the Tesseract, the item that the Skull craves to possess in the Cap movie.

What's that old saying? "If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it must be real concept artwork?"

what exactly is the Cosmic cube (the Tesseract) and why is its appearance only limited to the Red Skull and Captain America? why is non o the other villians in the Marvel universe craving the Cosmic cube?

The Cosmic Cube is a relic treasured by several villains in the Marvel Universe.. Its most notable owner was Thanos. The same Thanos that took control over another Relic of ultimate power the Infinity Gauntlet. What im thinking is there is no way Cap on his own would be tough enough to defeat a villian with the power of the cosmic cube.. So Im sure this will tie in to the Avengers movie..
