October 23, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug / Stephen Colbert to make cameo appearance

Comedian Stephen Colbert has revealed (sort of) that he will have a cameo appearance in one of the later Hobbit movies, but not the first picture.

Colbert teased his involvement with Playboy recently in an interview where he said that he "Could be" in a scene or two.

Checking in with one of their sources, The Hollywood Reporter then added that Colbert will be spotted in the second or third Hobbit movies but definately not the first, An Unexpected Journey.
