September 25, 2012 - Thor: The Dark World / Jaimie Alexander injured on set

Jaimie Alexander, the actress who plays the Asgardian warrior Sif in the Thor movies, tweeted about a potentially serious on-set accident that she sustained two days ago while filming the Thor sequel.

"Today I sustained a pretty horrible injury. I'm lucky I'm not paralyzed," she tweeted to her fanbase. "Thank you (with all of my heart) to those who've looked after me."

Alexander didn't elaborate on what her accident was, or what sort of injuries she sustained. However, the day after she was back on the social network and feeling better.

"Already in recovery mode and my spirits are high. I'll be back kicking ass as Lady Sif in no time! It can only get better from here on out!"
