Are you and she sisters, then?
Probably not, since she's ten years older than my mom and 5 years older than my dad, but she could be my aunt.
I wish she was my aunt. :(
You realize Jakester is now having fantasiies of a Bernadette Peters/Kah sandwich
Honestly, Omi, Kah > Bernadette Peters.
So what, you want a Kah/Kah sandwich?
Took the kids to see Gnomeo and Juliet yesterday. It was cute. I completely missed that Ozzy Osbourne was the voice of the fawn until the credits. Also, Patrick Stewart played a William Shakespeare statue.
Right now I am watching my testing team turn a relatively simple bout of testing into an unholy clusterfuck.
I am going downstairs to shout at some minions.
Dalty, that made my morning. Did you have fun, Mr. Shouty?
Watched Easy Virtue with Jessica Biel, Colin Firth, Kristen Scott-Thomas, and Ben Barnes. Not bad, a few of the music choices took me out of the film, but as a whole a nice film. Colin Firth is the best part, and I have to say Biel surprised me.
A couple of days ago I watched 'Conspiracy', and Colin Firth was pretty awesome in that. For those who haven't seen it, it's about the Wannsee conference in the early/middle of WWII, where the final solution to the Jewish question was pondered. Firth's character believed sterilization was the answer, and was accused of being sympathetic to the Jews, in response to which he goes on a great rant about how he hates the Jews more than anyone else at the conference, only his hatred was based on fact because he knew how dangerous the Jews really were. It was funny cause they were all so consumed with hate.

It did make me feel better. Somebody v. senior got involved and I also discovered that frisson that you get when you slap down somebody who out ranks you. I liked it.
Oh, this really happened? I just assumed you watched Despicable Me and got confused.
If I was to say that one of my minions is yellow, then that little Chinese fucker would go to HR on me.
Watching Whose Line is it Anyways? american version. I prefer the British, but this is all I can find to DVR. The head of my improv group suggested we watch a lot of it as reserch. It's odd the ammount of practice one can put into improv.
I've just now been watching a couple more episodes of 'Supernatural'. Forgot to mention the last time that Amy Acker showed up in one of the first four episodes. I was surprised, thinking that the show overlapped with 'Angel', but after checking out the dates I realized that 'Supernatural' started the fall after 'Angel's last season. Joss's shows seem to be very against portraying women as sex objects, so I always get the feeling the actresses aren't likely to go prancing around in their underwear, but I looked up Acker on the net a few years ago and was surprised to see her in very provocative outfits and clothes. Naturally, in her guest stint on 'Supernatural' they had her throwing off her clothes and taking a bath, then writhing around in the bath as the water became sentient and tried to drown her. I re-watched that scene, pausing frequently. It's so much more tantalizing when you've seen the actress for years, and never gotten a peak of anything. I always thought she was really cute on 'Angel', but she can be really sexy when she wants to be. She's "Hollywood nerd," I suppose, or near that (or at least that's the way she was as Fred on 'Angel').
< Goiter > I don't find Amy Acker very attractive. < /Goiter >
Me either, actually. Seeing her in Playboy didn't really change my opinion, either.
OK, it's now become my singular obsession to hunt down those pics.
As for what I'm watching now, I watched The Exorcism of Emily Rose. I like watching stupid religious shit that's based on real events. It makes me laugh. (Like apparently god let Emily Rose be possessed by six demons so that the world can become more aware of the spiritual world. Hey god, why don't you just stop hiding behind a cloud if you want people to be more aware?)
Aside from the cheap scare in the bedroom, I thought the movie was pretty ambiguous.
Watched a Verhoven double-bill of Robocop and Starship Troopers with some friends this weekend. Watching them back to back made me realize how many elements of Starship Troopers are similar to elements of Robocop like the goofy news broadcasts.
