After starring in one comic book movie that came out this summer (20th Century Fox's X-Men: First Class), Kevin Bacon is now in final negotiations to join the cast of R.I.P.D. It's not known what kind of character Bacon would star as but he would be alongside Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges as the two supernatural detectives.

Hangover star Zack Galifianakis is in contract negotiations to play Ryan Reynolds' detective partner in R.I.P.D. The character is described by THR as "a wise-cracking officer who's been hunting spirits since the 1800s."
