The book has a special place in my heart. I had to do a GCSE English paper, focussing on creative writing, around the book and one of the elements was to write a continuation and read it back to the class with appropriate creative flourishes. I loved every minute of it and got an A.

White chicks.

They're the only ones pampered enough to expect it, so they're the only ones who complain about it being dead.

I'm generalizing, of course. White chicks aren't the only chicks to complain about romance being dead. Privileged women of all colors complain about it.

 I had no interest in seeing this after an ad labeling it "the feel-good movie of 2013." Ugh. Plus, I don't really care for Ben Stiller in sincere mode.
